"Turning Europe into the Healthiest Society"

The European Life Science Circle (ELSC) conference entitled “Turning Europe into the Healthiest Society” was held yesterday in Brussels. ENHA co-chairs Professor Baeyens and Professor Ljungqvist (pictured) both attended. Professor Ljungvist gave an engaging keynote speech “Malnutrition in Europe: The Forgotten Health Agenda” and his presentation can be downloaded below.
The conference was used to discuss reform of Europe's health care system, improve patient conditions in Europe, and to bring the EU life science sector forward and turn Europe into the world's "bio-zone." The ELSC encouraged debates in several areas including preventative medicine, e-health, patents and patients associations.
