MNI publish updated report on oral nutritional supplements

The medical nutrition industry association and ENHA partner Medical Nutrition International Industry (MNI) has published an updated version of the evidence base on the use of oral nutritional supplements (ONS) as part of the management of disease related malnutrition for patients in hospital and community settings. This detailed report summarises the prevalence, causes and consequences of malnutrition and the nutritional, functional, clinical and economic benefits of using oral nutritional supplements in the treatment of malnutrition. The report also includes relevant guidelines and examples of good practice.
