Fight Against Malnutrition Declaration
Action on Screening, Awareness, Reimubursement and Education

The international conference “Fight Against Malnutrition – Two decades of opportunities” took place in Warsaw on October 6th. With participation of the European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (ESPEN), the Polish Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (POLSPEN) and ENHA, a major goal of the event was to enhance the involvement of policymakers in the fight against malnutrition to improve nutritional care and organization. Endorsement was granted by the Polish Presidency to the European Union, and members of European Parliament and its Presidency were directly involved. The conference was a success and a very fruitful event, and an official declaration (available for download below) has been produced, underscoring its clinical and political goals along with practical proposals that are now presented to top-level stakeholders and policymakers.
